It has finally been confirmed that the food products which are made in New Zealand which includes high density Whey protein are not contaminated with Clostridium botulinum bacteria.

Accordingly, the Ministry of health states that the Food Advisory Committee has decided to release the relevant food products for the market.

The Food Advisory Committee had assembled on the 9th September to discuss regarding the inquiries made with regards to the contamination of the said bacteria in the WPC-80 high density whey protein food products made in New Zealand.

Accordingly, Health ministry announces that the Medical research institute has conducted tests by using 104 samples of such food products in order to confirm that the food products are not contaminated.
